Established in January, 1990 by David F. Briggs,  Geomineinfo was formed as a cost effective way to provide accurate and detailed geological, engineering, metallurgical and financial information to the base and precious metals  mining industry.  Over the years, its principal product has been the Mining Operations Report,  a comprehensive study of domestic and international base and precious mining operations, which presently contains data on more than six hundred  mines.  Geomineinfo maintains extensive conventional and digital archives of geological, technical and financial data compiled over a period of more than twenty years.   In March, 2006, Geomineinfo expanded its business to include a wide variety of geological and geotechnical consulting services.
